Join the 8th FSC General Assembly 2017 and make your voice heard!

Did you know that only FSC members can vote and submit motions at the general assembly? As FSC is a membership association, our members are the highest decision-making body.


Every three years, you determine the future of our organization by voting and submitting motions. If your motions are approved, they will become one of the key priorities for FSC.

FSC General Assembly frequently asked questions:

FSC members can register for the FSC General Assembly 2017 online. Registration will open in February 2017.

Different stakeholders can register as observers in the 8th FSC General Assembly 2017. This means they can attend general assembly open sessions and activities. As non-members observers do not have the right to vote in the general assembly.

Depending on your country of citizenship, you may be required to obtain a visa to enter Canada. Visa requirements vary and are subject to change, so please refer to your nearest Canadian consulate or embassy for information. Find out more here.

Taking into account that the cost to attend the FSC General Assembly 2017 is prohibitive for some members, and FSC is committed to support as many members as possible to attend this important event, FSC has set aside a small fund to help with subsidies to as many members as budgets permit. The deadline for requesting subsidies will be announced in the first quarter of 2017. Click here to apply for a GA subsidy.
